Magnetic Tiles are such an engaging and open-ended play experience for children, offering countless configurations and allowing for exciting expressions of creativity.

The 28 piece 'Car Pack' can be used a standalone set or as an extension pack to enrich an existing set of Magnetic Tiles. It brings a unique twist to Magnetic TIle play by allowing a range of different vehicles to be designed. 

The set is designed and developed with meticulous consideration, with input by 'Learn & Grow Toys', an Australian family-run business helmed by an educator. This educational background has helped with the development of unique pieces contained within the Car Pack, such as the hood piece which is an exclusive design that has never been used in magnetic tiles before. It utilises especially strong magnets that allows for a sturdier car that can be pushed around without collapsing.

Magnetic Tiles, including the Car Pack, are an ideal STEAM experience for children. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. The use of magnetic tiles incorporates so many of these interconnected domains, with children marvelling at the scientific phenomenon of magnetism while also engaging in engineering of their own designs, all with an artistic element. 

Magnetic Tiles facilitate collaborative play, as well as independent exploration. A group of children can work together on realising a shared vision, inspiring communication and cooperation. An individual child can just as easily focus on a personal project, spending an extended period constructing, deconstructing and reconstructing! Whether the Magnetic TIles are used solo or in a group, they help to promote problem-solving skills and encourage concentration.

Magnetic TIles help to engage the hands and body along with the mind. This makes them a positive experience for refining motor coordination, and that sensory-motor engagement also helps to create an experience that is the right blend of stimulating but self-regulating.
