Wrap It Green Reusable Beeswax Wraps

Naturally Sustainable

The easiest way to explain this product is - nature's cling wrap!

The Reusable Beeswax Wraps can be used to replace disposable plastic wrap. Wrap sandwiches, cover cut or half-eaten vegetables or cover bowls of food and so much more.

Reduce waste - and help your child to develop positive attitudes towards sustainability - by using gifts from nature to protect nature! You are also protecting your child by using this entirely natural and non-toxic material.

The wraps are handmade in Australia from:

  • Blend of unbleached cotton & hemp
  • Certified organic beeswax
  • Natural tree resin
  • Pure jojoba oil

Available in two sets:

  • Set of 3 - ideal for sandwiches / covering bowls.
    Three sizes included: 1 x small (20x20cm), 1 x medium (25x25cm) and 1 x large (30x30cm).
  • Set of 5 Veggie Wraps - ideal for covering fruits or vegetables.
One size included: 5 of 15cmx15cm

The wraps can last for over a year (if cared for correctly, as outlined below). Just think of the reduction in waste - and think of how much money you will save over that period!

Use instructions:

Using the wraps is easy - just cover or seal the item just as you would with a plastic 'glad wrap'. There are a few tips that can help with this - make sure the wraps are slightly warm when you wrap. On a cold day (or after being refrigerated) they can become quite rigid. This is a good thing as it keeps the wraps on tight but it can make it tricky to wrap something new. If the wrap is too stiff when you need to reshape it then just warm it with your hands until it is bendy once again!

Remember to teach your children how to use the wraps! It's a useful practical life skill and will also promote fine motor coordination!

Also, make sure your children understand that the wraps are reusable! If your child is accustomed to plastic wrap then it might take a little while for them to get out of the habit of wanting to throw away the wrap so it's important that you (as a parent or teacher) give some reminders about this. If you are a parent and you're sending the wraps to your child's school then you might like to let their teachers know about it too - partly to ensure the wraps make it home but also because the school might like to spread the word!

Care instructions:

After each use it is ideal to gently hand wash your wraps in cool water (ideally using an eco-friendly detergent like Tri Nature). You can scrub them with a sponge or soft dishcloth.

Let them dry on a dish rack or towel dry them for immediate use. To store them simply roll them or fold them and store in a cool, dry place.

AVOID HIGH TEMPERATURES: Do not place your Reusable Beeswax Wrap in the microwave or dishwasher, or near high temperatures (including hot food or hot water). High temperatures can damage the wrap.

AVOID ALCOHOL: Alcohol can dissolve the natural coating on the wraps, so please don't use dishwashing liquids (or gels) that contain alcohol.
